UPDATE: Trax's fundraising campaign has been a success, and he will be receiving a wheelchair! Stay tuned for photos and updates. Please consider supporting one of the other pets in need.
Trax is a caring therapy dog and an accomplished search and rescue dog. Over the course of his career, Trax has helped bring solace to grieving families and criminals to justice. Sadly, Trax has been diagnosed with transitional cell carcinoma that has severely impacted his mobility. Although his family is painfullly aware of the seriousness of his prognosis, they are hopeful that a dog wheelchair will help him with his mobility in the time that he has left. Trax is a devoted friend and companion who has given so much to so many within the community.
Trax's family has turned to the Handicapped Pets Foundation for assistance. Challenging economic times coupled with the overwhelming cost of Trax's treatments thus far have created a severe financial strain. Please consider making a contribution to Trax so that he can enjoy his remaining time walking and playing with his family.
Thanks to the support of a very generous donor to the Handicapped Pets Foundation, the first $200 contributed towards Trax's wheelchair will be matched dollar for dollar! Your contribution to Trax will be twice as meaningful! You may make a contribution online. Please reference "Trax" in the purpose line of the online form. If you would prefer to make your contribution by mail, please send a check made payable to Handicapped Pets Foundation, 14 Veterans Road, #22, Amherst, NH 03031. Thank you in advance for your generous support of Trax!
